Elke Kennedy of Greenville, S.C. is the mother of Sean Kennedy, who died May 16, 2007 as the result of a violent attack that is being investigated as a hate crimes due the fact that Sean was gay.

Elke and her family shortly after the death of Sean founded Sean's Last Wish, an organization that seeks to raise awareness to the fact that in the state of South Carolina there is no hate crime legislation to protect all human beings.

Elke and members of her family have worked tirelessly during the previous four months on behalf of GLBT groups in South Carolina and other locations to bring attention to the need for hate crime legislation.

Faith in America has dedicated its Greenville "Call to Courage" campaign to Sean's memory. At the Oct. 1, 2007 press conference to launch the campaign, Elke stood less than 100 feet from where her son was attacked and made an impassioned plea for President Bush not to veto the federal hate crimes legislation.

Faith In America seeks to assist Sean's Last Wish in its efforts and we 'd like to ask your help.

The money raised from the chair raffle will be evenly split between Sean's Last Wish and Faith In America's ongoing campaigning in Greenville, S.C.

We hope you will consider making a $50 donation to win this beautiful chair and to assist Sean's Last Wish and the Call to Courage campaign in Greenville, S.C. (click here)
